About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help us shape the future of our expansion in Latin America. As a key player on our team, you will identify, onboard, and manage distributors across multiple countries, ensuring we achieve our sales and EBITDA targets. In this role, you will leverage your strategic thinking and understanding of regional complexities to foster distributor relationships, develop business plans, and execute marketing strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the diverse and fast-paced Latin American market, driving significant growth and success. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with distributors to develop and execute annual strategic sales and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with market development stages and corporate guidelines.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews and market visits to monitor sales plan execution.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributor management, sales, and support staff, providing coaching, training, and motivation.
  • Identify and develop growth plans for customers, channels, and regions, supporting key account management and coordinating new product introductions.
  • Develop and implement omnichannel marketing campaigns with the Latin America Marketing Department, conducting market surveys to ensure timely execution.
  • Manage forecasts considering inventory and supply chain factors, monitor sales and stock trends, and adjust monthly order forecasts to optimize resource allocation and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director and brand/IP enforcement partners on legal and intellectual property matters.
  • Conduct due diligence, selection, and evaluation of new country distributors following the direct markets selection process.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive monthly and quarterly business reports.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of international business development experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Fluent in Spanish language (reading, writing, and conversation).
  • Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in sales and/or marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of progressive responsibility and leadership in managing key accounts within the assigned region.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch sales/growth targets.
  • Experience executing omnichannel campaigns successfully.
  • Proven track record of selling new products or line extensions.
  • Strong strategic planning and tactical execution skills across multiple trade channels.
  • Familiarity with P&L management.
  • Commercial experience in the relevant countries' local culture, business customs, and logistics.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
