About the position

The Business Development Manager at TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is responsible for proactively identifying, developing, and selling new business opportunities to support growth objectives in the manufacturing quality services sector, particularly within the automotive industry. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, managing client inquiries, and ensuring the delivery of quality solutions across client operations. The position requires a strong focus on client relationship management, sales strategy, and collaboration with internal teams to meet business development goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop favorable relationships with decision makers at Tier 1 and OEM prospects.
  • Establish stable and long-term relationships built on trust and customer service.
  • Identify key target accounts within a pre-determined geographic area.
  • Communicate with key decision makers regarding quality services.
  • Handle customer inquiries and communication efficiently.
  • Develop opportunities related to training, inspection, rework, resident engineering, consulting, and supplier development programs.
  • Support the sales pipeline from identification through close of new opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing plans and programs with clients.
  • Monitor and track competitive intelligence and industry trends.
  • Track, report, and assist sales on all business development activities within the corporate CRM.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals for services.
  • Coordinate meetings and present solutions to prospects.
  • Engage technical resources to address client needs effectively.
  • Facilitate the transition of clients to operations for service delivery.
  • Assist operations with compliance to established KPIs and mission details.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' business-to-business sales experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in inspection, sorting, containment, consulting, or engineering services is a plus.
  • Strong customer development and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships and identify problems to facilitate solutions.
  • Ability to handle pressure and ambiguous situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with automotive OEM quality systems.
  • Experience in the inspection/sorting/containment/consulting/engineering services or training industry.
