About the position

The Business Development Manager for the MedSpa Channel at Dermalogica is responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in the medical aesthetics sector. This role involves establishing strategic partnerships, conducting market analysis, and collaborating with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical aesthetics industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, medical professionals, and clinical skincare providers.
  • Stay in touch with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential areas for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with key partners to enhance product/service visibility and accessibility.
  • Deepen collaboration and partnerships with existing accounts to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide product knowledge and training to accounts to maximize their performance.
  • Attend and aid in planning events to drive sell through.
  • Attend local workshops, aesthetic shows, and industry events to expand brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities in your market.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to continuously improve products and service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the medical aesthetics industry or similar experience.
  • Good understanding of medical aesthetics products and services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong presentation skills.
