About the position

As a Business Development Manager at Caesarstone, you will be joining a leader in the quartz and stone industry, where we are revolutionizing the countertop market with innovative solutions. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships. You will focus on outside sales, engaging with customers in person, conducting face-to-face meetings, and visiting client locations to understand their needs firsthand. Your responsibilities will include managing and nurturing existing accounts through regular site visits, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. In addition to account management, you will proactively prospect and identify new sales opportunities in the premium countertop market. This will involve conducting market research and attending industry events to expand our client base. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the outside sales environment, including route planning, territory management, and maximizing face-to-face interactions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, architects, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders will be essential, as will networking effectively to generate leads and referrals. Your role will also require you to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our premium countertop product range during in-person meetings and presentations. You will showcase product features, benefits, and advantages over competitors to persuade potential clients. Key competencies for this position include sales orientation, business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive for results while solving problems and planning effectively. Adaptability, flexibility, effective communication, time management, and analytical skills will also be crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on engaging with customers in person, conducting face-to-face meetings, and visiting client locations to understand their needs firsthand.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience in a similar role, ideally within the home improvement, construction, or premium home decor industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in premium products, materials, and relevant applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal teams.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and devise effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Strong ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external customer needs; respond to requests for service and assistance and meet commitments.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders demonstrating company values.
  • Strong proficiency with technology, specifically experience with SalesForce and other CRM applications.
  • Must possess a valid current driver license.
