About the position

The Business Development Manager at automotiveMastermind is responsible for driving market expansion and achieving sales targets through strategic partnerships and consultative selling. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and effectively communicating the value of the company's software-as-a-service offerings to automotive dealerships. The position requires a proactive approach to lead generation and relationship building, with a focus on long-term customer engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding quota.
  • Responsible for market expansion by obtaining new leads in new territories.
  • Experience in high velocity sales with a 30-day close window.
  • Partner with customers to identify challenges and understand their business needs.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our product through proposals and presentations.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in sales, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
  • Significant working experience with CRM tools and reporting.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Auto retail experience is strongly preferred.
  • Passionate about cars and understanding of financing.
  • Experience effectively negotiating and upselling.
