Global Nexis Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead our new growth initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving solutions (SaaS) and data (DaaS) sales within a defined geographic territory, specifically targeting small and midsize businesses. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal business partners to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our organizational goals. In this position, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the for-profit SMB sector, employing value and consultative-based selling techniques. You will effectively communicate the value of LexisNexis's products and services through personal presentations and well-crafted proposals. Additionally, you will manage your sales pipeline, conduct financial forecasting, track activities, and engage in strategic territory planning to ensure you meet and exceed sales quotas. Your role will also involve defining account strategies that facilitate sales by partnering with the Nexis Solution Sales, Product, and Marketing teams. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans to maintain focus and drive results. Utilizing Salesforce and other automation tools will be essential in streamlining your processes and enhancing productivity.
