About the position

We are on a quest to find a Business Development Manager that will identify, pursue, and secure new website publishers to expand the Nitro business. As a Business Development Manager, you will leverage diverse online resources and market insights to identify potential new website publishers for the Nitro ecosystem. You will establish relationships with key stakeholders, effectively pitch the Nitro platform using specialized tactics and talking points, and smoothly guide clients through their evaluation process. As a division of Overwolf, Nitro is at the forefront of reinventing website monetization for the gaming industry. Our ad tech platform ensures an uncompromised user experience, combining rapid revenue generation and high-quality service featuring Net 7 Payouts, same-day support, and the industry's quickest ad loading times. Recognized for its speed, transparency, and general ease of use, Nitro collaborates with over 300 publishers, managing more than 500 gaming websites globally. Our exclusive network, encompassing the world's most popular IPs, generates over eight billion ad impressions from over a billion page views worldwide. You will be expected to work independently and creatively to expand Nitro's client base, making a significant impact in the ad tech landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with a portfolio of potential clients.
  • Attend gaming and advertising conferences to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Create tailored monetization pitches for potential clients.
  • Identify and educate new contacts about the benefits of the Nitro platform.
  • Work independently and creatively to expand Nitro's client base.
  • Cast powerful business development spells and incantations using enchanted tomes, scrolls, and CRMs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years' experience in the ad tech industry.
  • Based in US Central Time Zone.
  • Experience in Sales Development or Business Development.
  • Exceptionally clear and charismatic communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry and current market trends.
  • Familiarity with website monetization strategies, traffic measurement tools, and other key web performance indicators.
  • Experience with (or capacity to learn) Salesforce and similar CRMs.
  • Proven history of honest and ethical interactions with customers.
  • Proficient in business-oriented witchcraft (necromancy is a plus).
