The Business Development Manager - Outside Sales Representative at Boelter is responsible for building and managing a sales territory within the foodservice industry. This role involves prospecting for new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and generating new business opportunities. Responsibilities

• Generate new customers and business opportunities while maintaining established relationships with existing customers.
• Negotiate with customers using product, industry, and competitive knowledge.
• Provide customers with a consultative experience, sharing information about products and the industry.
• Develop a margin improvement strategy for the overall territory.
• Provide timely and accurate quotations with regular follow-up.
• Build and maintain a well-developed business pipeline.
• Meet and/or exceed revenue and margin budget annually.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Investigate customer issues and solve routine industry problems on site.
• Present written and verbal communication in a confident, articulate, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Sales, Business, or Marketing).
• Prior sales experience in the Foodservice Supply Industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, HubSpot, AutoQuotes, SAP is a plus.
• Strong customer relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative.
• Ability to travel to meet with customers and to the corporate office in Pewaukee once monthly.
