About the position

The Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) role at EmployBridge involves attracting new customers and maintaining existing relationships through various communication channels. This position focuses on engaging with decision-makers, targeting quality leads, and leveraging partnerships to expand the prospect funnel. The role requires consultative account management and the ability to lead strategic market conversations, presenting and upselling products based on client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Attract new customers and maintain existing relationships via phone, social media, face-to-face meetings, and email.
  • Engage with decision-makers during the buying process.
  • Target higher quality leads and leverage existing partnerships to expand the prospect funnel.
  • Act as a market leader through connections with networking groups, trade associations, and social media groups.
  • Engage in pre-call planning using market research to gain insights into customer challenges and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide consultative account management, post-sale support, and frequent follow-up.
  • Lead strategic market-related conversations with customers and present additional products based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in business development or outside sales.
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience in meeting or exceeding weekly sales goals.
  • Familiarity with innovative lead generation methods and tools such as Lead Gen, Vidyard, Zoom, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of customer priorities and challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the staffing or recruiting industry.
  • Familiarity with social selling techniques.
