About the position

Tradition Home Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager / Outside Sales professional to serve as a community liaison in Brooklyn, NY. This role is pivotal in driving revenue through the establishment and maintenance of a robust network of industry referrals. The successful candidate will represent Tradition Home Health Care in the community, working closely with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other providers in the senior care industry. The primary objective is to identify, develop, and maintain referral sources while increasing awareness of Tradition Home Health Care's mission and values. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring that marketing communications are well-coordinated, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral. This will support the marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the Sales organization. The role involves arranging appointments and call activities with healthcare professionals such as Social Workers, Case Managers, and Community Partners to increase new professional referrals and nurture existing relationships, thereby continuing growth in the territory. In addition, the candidate will create and implement marketing campaigns, track and report on marketing activities, and achieve or exceed referral quotas on a quarterly and annual basis. Leadership in the management and development of joint ventures, affiliations, and partnership arrangements is also a key responsibility. The Business Development Manager will execute the company's business marketing plan, achieve key milestones and revenue targets, and develop in-depth knowledge of all competitive product offerings to tailor product strategies effectively. This position requires a relentless problem solver who can assess and resolve both simple and complex challenges for referrals and clients alike. Day-to-day communications between clients and the team will also be managed by this role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring marketing communications are coordinated, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales / marketing experience.
