The BDM will utilize the Ryder Sales Process to educate and develop prospects' value perception of Ryder's services. This involves creating sales plans, analyzing the profitability of prospects, and understanding the competitive influences and risks associated with each account. This is a straight hunter role, and we are looking for someone who is driven and has experience in contractual-based sales. The role requires ground travel and includes a competitive salary, a company cell phone, mileage reimbursement, and excellent monthly commission payout potential. Your responsibilities will also include conducting quality needs assessments, preparing value-based proposals, and developing account selling strategies to improve effectiveness. You will be expected to report sales activity to management and create supportive working relationships with internal teams to leverage resources for expanding new opportunities.
