About the position

Phoenix Careers is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Outside Sales. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality products and services to our customers while expanding our market presence. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and sales targets, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs of our clients. In this position, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. You will present and promote Phoenix Careers products and services to potential clients, building and maintaining long-lasting relationships to ensure client satisfaction and foster loyalty. Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, collaborating with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals. Monitoring sales performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets will be crucial. You will also participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques, ensuring that you are equipped to succeed in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development, outside sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software.
