About the position

The Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) at EmployBridge is responsible for attracting new customers and maintaining existing relationships through various communication channels. This role involves engaging with decision-makers, targeting quality leads, and leveraging partnerships to expand the prospect funnel. The manager will provide consultative account management and lead strategic market conversations to upsell products based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Attract new customers and maintain existing relationships via phone, social media, face-to-face meetings, and email.
• Engage with decision-makers during the buying process.
• Target higher quality leads and leverage existing partnerships to expand the prospect funnel.
• Act as a market leader through connections with networking groups, trade associations, and social media groups.
• Conduct pre-call planning using market research to gain insights into customer challenges and identify key stakeholders.
• Provide consultative account management, post-sale support, and frequent follow-up with clients.
• Lead strategic market-related conversations and present additional products based on client needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, particularly in business development or outside sales.
• Ability to build relationships with all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.
• Experience in meeting or exceeding sales goals through innovative methods.
• Strong understanding of market research and customer priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with social selling and platforms like LinkedIn.
• Familiarity with innovative sales technologies such as Vidyard and Zoom.
