The Business Development Manager for Oven Sales at LEWCO, Inc. is responsible for developing and managing opportunities for LEWCO products to achieve sales and profit goals. This role involves designing and recommending sales programs and marketing strategies to create new opportunities for the company's products. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with product team members to enhance product and service offerings, aiming to improve customer satisfaction and maximize sales. The position requires the implementation of new sales techniques to increase sales volume effectively. In this role, the Business Development Manager will focus on increasing profitable sales of LEWCO products by identifying and developing new opportunities. They will drive strategic sales discussions and assist the Marketing Associate in developing marketing campaigns and initiatives. The manager will also be responsible for managing and winning orders for assigned RFQs (Request for Quotations) and will collaborate closely with customers, Applications Engineers, and the Sales Team to secure business. Sharing the voice of the customer (VoC) with internal stakeholders is crucial, as is a focus on providing customer value and exemplary customer service. To succeed, the Business Development Manager must become proficient in LEWCO products and their applications, utilizing selling tools such as CRM and ERP software. The role does not include supervisory responsibilities, but it requires professionalism, collaboration, problem-solving abilities, and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related area
  • At least three (3) years of sales experience
  • Ability to write and analyze reports
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent math skills including basic algebra and geometry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Adequate skills to navigate and work within company's ERP and CRM software
  • Excellent typing skills
