About the position

The Business Development Manager (Palo Alto) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization plays a crucial role in identifying opportunities for business expansion that align with the customer sales strategy. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships by providing tailored solutions for defined accounts, ultimately aiming to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives. The role emphasizes the importance of collaboration and communication, as the manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the success of the growth plans. As a subject matter expert (SME) for brand products and technology solutions, the Business Development Manager will execute strategic customer growth plans and foster business relationships within assigned accounts. This involves identifying and creating demand for products, coordinating seminars, training sessions, and resource awareness initiatives that drive growth in targeted accounts. The manager will also perform analyses and report on the impact of various programs for identified customers, keeping the Account Manager informed of successes, challenges, and future growth strategies. In addition to maintaining a strong understanding of products, competitors, and technology trends in the assigned market, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for nurturing field supplier relationships. The role may also include other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization and its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships by providing solutions for defined accounts.
  • Execute strategic customer growth plans and business relationships in assigned accounts.
  • Identify and create opportunity demand for products, coordinating supporting seminars and training.
  • Perform analysis and report results of various program impacts for identified customers.
  • Maintain trending knowledge of products, competitors, technology, and customers in the assigned market.
  • Identify and maintain field supplier relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Sales, Cybersecurity, or Business Development.
  • Proficient in English (level B2 or higher).
  • Full knowledge of assigned product/service line.
  • Ability to work on small to mid-size accounts of moderate complexity.
  • Experience in building relationships directly with customers.
