About the position

The position involves managing a team responsible for identifying new business opportunities and creating effective go-to-market strategies to drive significant revenue growth. The role requires consistent engagement with both potential and existing customers to build a robust sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of business development representatives for a territory/region.
  • Engages frequently with customers to present the value proposition of Oracle solutions.
  • Qualifies business opportunities and sells the value of the solutions offered.
  • Oversees daily operations of lead qualification functions.
  • Coaches team members on performance management and career development.
  • Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management.
  • Manages the budget for the team.
  • Supports marketing and sales programs.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing a team in a business development or sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members effectively.
  • Experience in budget management and operational oversight.
