About the position

The Infrastructure Market Manager at CDG Engineers, Inc. is responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients within the local, state, and federal infrastructure markets. This role involves conducting market research, developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients within the local, state, and federal infrastructure markets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Attend conferences as needed to network and promote services.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with complementary businesses to expand market reach and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and sales strategies.
  • Lead the development of compelling proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualifications (RFQs).
  • Collaborate with technical experts to ensure proposals accurately reflect our capabilities and address client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Maintain records in CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling services with the federal, state, and/or local governments area within the infrastructure industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of the infrastructure market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
