We are currently seeking an energetic and well-rounded Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Tampa, FL area. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base and enhancing our service offerings in the region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for forming a customer base by actively engaging in scheduling, cold calling, and attending customer appointments within the designated territory. This includes issuing quotes, preparing bids, and making formal presentations to prospective customers. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with customers and generate new business opportunities by soliciting Savino Del Bene's comprehensive range of services, which include Ocean and Air Import, Ocean and Air Export, Distribution and Warehousing, LTL Transportation, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage. Meeting monthly sales targets set by upper management is a critical aspect of this role. The Business Development Manager will maintain constant communication with the Operations and Customer Service departments, as well as overseas offices, to ensure seamless service delivery. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Accounts Receivable department in tracking payments from the customer base.
