We are seeking an outgoing and customer service-oriented relationship manager to join our organization and work with our clients. We are Restopros of Essex, a family-owned and operated business that provides elite Water Damage Mitigation services for homeowners. We are looking for someone who can mesh well with our company culture and our clients. In this role, you will primarily connect with a blue-collar audience, and the work environment is more laid back, not overly corporate or professional. A larger-than-life and outgoing personality will be most successful in this role. It's not only about the service we provide but also about building trust and ensuring our customer base can connect with you personally, as you will be in front of them 1-2 times a week on an ongoing basis. This is a door-to-door sales position, and you will be on the road from 7 am to 3 pm. Your responsibilities will include maintaining good relationships with clients and being able to connect on a personal level. You must be sharp and attentive to read the room and understand the unspoken needs of clients. You will identify key contacts at potential client companies to establish and foster relationships and independently identify new opportunities. Participation in one-on-one meetings with clients to explain services and guide their choices is essential, as is the ability to quickly pick up on our industry. Understanding the problems and challenges of clients and addressing those needs with empathy is crucial. You will be responsible for growing the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities, monitoring and assessing the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain our clients, and providing excellent service to maintain a positive reputation for the business. Resolving any customer complaints promptly and professionally is also part of your role. You will set revenue targets and develop and execute a strategy to meet them. This is a performance-based role, not a check-the-box role, and you must have thick skin in a door-to-door sales position. You will encounter many rejections, but also many successes. You must be able to operate technology quickly and efficiently while on the road, including using Google Maps, social media for research, and sales tracking systems.
