The Business Development Manager, Under Car / Brakes is a pivotal role focused on expanding Under Car product sales to both existing and new customers across various distribution levels. This position is responsible for effectively communicating and executing strategic initiatives, sales promotions, and training related to the NAPA category. The manager will work closely with store owners and their installer customers to present and sell these initiatives, ensuring that they understand the value propositions and training materials provided by NAPA. In this role, the Business Development Manager will partner with TSM/TMOD teams to assess ISO Store Readiness and inventory levels, providing valuable field insights that drive sales and support strategic category initiatives. Achieving territory sales quotas is a key responsibility, along with training store employees on the proper implementation and utilization of NAPA Under Car programs. The manager will act as an advisor and business partner to store owners, fostering long-term relationships and leveraging category expertise to help stores manage effective inventory levels. The position also involves organizing and leading category-specific sales blitzes within the assigned territory, consistently meeting or exceeding financial targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Providing exceptional customer service and communication to all accounts in the territory is essential, as is demonstrating thorough knowledge of all aspects of the assigned product lines. The manager will conduct classroom and in-field education and training for customers, execute sales plans to capitalize on business growth opportunities, and manage promotional events and trade shows. Additionally, the role includes participating in marketing intelligence sharing with colleagues to identify product opportunities that can enhance sales.
