About the position

The Business Development Manager at Commonwealth Resources Incorporated is responsible for driving sales growth in the window and door industry. This role focuses on expanding market share, developing strategic business initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities and delivering effective sales solutions while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market share by building an extensive book of business and increasing current geographic reach.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive client retention.
  • Promote the company's products and services to prospective clients.
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-level research to develop and deliver effective sales solutions.
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that budgeted goals are being met and/or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to develop new business growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network with potential clients and vendors.
  • Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Support corporate events, trainings, trade shows, etc.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a successful business development consultant, sales executive or relevant role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and positive, professional demeanor.
  • Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
  • Top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self while also motivating team members to excel.
  • Passionate about windows and doors.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in the defenestration industry; window and door sales experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or commensurate industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with AS400 a plus; advanced use of Microsoft Office.
