About the position

The Business Development Manager at Visa is responsible for pursuing and executing new commercial and strategic partnerships with global fintechs, AI companies, non-card enablers, and emerging digital platforms. This role requires a blend of solutioning, sales, partnership development, and thought leadership, aimed at driving meaningful growth for Visa through innovative partnerships and product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue and execute new commercial and strategic partnerships with global fintechs and emerging digital platforms.
  • Understand Visa and partner capabilities, needs, and goals to drive successful outcomes.
  • Forge new commercial structures and non-traditional product partnerships within key emerging segments.
  • Manage complex commercial deals from negotiation to closing and delivery.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level communications and presentations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
  • Significant product, sales, and management experience in the payments and/or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, and closing complex commercial deals.
  • Ability to work within a complex and ambiguous environment and influence senior management.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
  • Experience in AI, cross-border money movement, and account-to-account payments.
  • Strong storytelling capabilities and passion for improving financial services.
