We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in the Americas region, with a specialized focus on supporting our battery test equipment solutions. The successful candidate will bring valuable industry knowledge gained from previous roles, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development. In this role, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the battery test industry to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in the Americas region. You will provide strategic insights to inform decision-making processes and develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive growth and market share within the battery test sector. Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners will be crucial to your success. You will work closely with the Sales team to align business development efforts with sales targets and objectives, collaborate with Marketing to develop effective campaigns and promotional materials, and engage with the Research & Development team to contribute industry insights for product innovation. Additionally, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, acting as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights and solutions tailored to their requirements. Furthermore, you will identify and explore new markets and applications for battery test equipment, driving expansion beyond existing segments and conducting market research to assess and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development within the battery test equipment industry.
  • Strong industry knowledge acquired through previous roles is essential.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
