The Business Development Manager at HUB International is a pivotal role responsible for generating new business opportunities within the Hub Gulf South region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales leader and production team to devise and implement a strategic sales plan that includes outbound cold calling, networking, and participation in community events. In addition to identifying and cultivating new business leads, the Business Development Manager will attend industry conferences and events to expand their professional network and effectively represent HUB International. This position also involves creating leads and setting appointments for top producers within the HUB Gulf South team, nurturing strong relationships with both potential and existing clients, and collaborating with various specialized business units such as Trade Credit, Cyber, Financial, and Professional Services. The Business Development Manager is expected to consistently strive to exceed sales performance targets while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions with prospects. Effective communication with the sales team is crucial, as is working closely with the leadership team to align with strategic goals and support new business initiatives. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall objectives of the organization.
