Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify opportunities to boost revenue and bring fresh business on board
  • Collaborate with an awesome team that's as passionate about logistics as you are
  • Drive growth and help us reach new heights in the world of transportation and logistics
  • Identify and nurture business opportunities: formulate and implement strategies to expand our customer base, and maximize revenue generation
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, cultivating a diverse portfolio of prospective clients and key stakeholders to drive mutual growth
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing effective sales techniques
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Promote a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of business development experience, ideally within the transportation logistics or supply chain industry
  • Proven track record of driving growth and building strong client relationships
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively
  • Strong Excel skills: effectively organize and analyze data, create reports and presentations, and make data-driven decisions
  • In-depth understanding of the transportation brokerage sector, including market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices
  • Effective listening and communication skills, capable of presenting information to an audience and influencing others
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas and bold initiatives to the table, challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and develop strategic plans
