As a Business Development Manager at Preferred Property Maintenance (PPM), a subsidiary of Servicon, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and exceeding financial targets within your assigned territory. This position is designed for a sales dynamo who is ready to carve their path to success in the commercial property maintenance industry. You will be at the forefront of executing our sales strategy, leveraging your expertise to secure new business and cultivate lasting client relationships. Your mission is clear: deliver results. You will utilize innovative processes and tools to streamline our sales operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in every interaction. With approximately 80% of your time dedicated to driving sales and 20% focused on strategic initiatives, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your success and make a significant impact on the company’s growth. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies. This involves identifying target markets, specifically in the LA County area, determining pricing strategies, analyzing competition, and evaluating market opportunities. You will forecast sales volumes, revenues, and expenses, analyze sales data, generate reports, and present performance updates to senior management. Additionally, you will oversee the development and implementation of customer relationship management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. Monitoring individual and team sales performance will be a key responsibility, as you track progress against targets and take corrective actions when necessary. This may involve providing additional training, reallocating resources, or revising sales strategies. Conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and gathering customer feedback will inform your sales strategies and help identify new business opportunities. You will also introduce and work with the best technologies to enhance the sales process and increase the company’s social presence to drive new clients to PPM. Proactively seeking out new business opportunities through cold calling activities in the commercial, retail, municipal, and manufacturing spaces will be essential. You will manage the entire sales process from lead generation through closing, effectively developing and managing the sales pipeline to achieve annual sales targets, and forming relationships with customers that result in profitable sales of PPM's facility services to new customers.
