About the position

The Business Development Manager at Nextaff Healthcare & Industrial Staffing is responsible for developing sales strategies and attracting new clients in the Lebanon, Smyrna, LaVergne, and Nashville/Middle TN area. This role focuses on sourcing new sales opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales goals to increase income and revenue for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Closing sales using various customer sales methods including face-to-face interactions, cold calling, and product presentations.
  • Forecasting sales and developing marketing strategies, advertisements, and promotions with customers while evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Evaluating customer needs and building productive, long-lasting relationships with meat buyers and store managers.
  • Meeting personal and company sales targets.
  • Researching accounts and generating or following through on sales leads.
  • Attending meetings, sales events, and training to stay updated on the latest developments.
  • Reporting and providing feedback to management using sales reports and financial data.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience is a must.
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well independently.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques in the food industry.
  • Computer/laptop use competency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Staffing agency experience is a plus but not necessary.
  • Involvement in the community, networking, and Chambers.
  • Track record of over-achieving targets.
