The Business Development Manager position is a pivotal role within the BD Team, primarily focused on developing new business opportunities in the land market. This position is based in Rock Hill, SC, but can also be performed remotely, given the extensive travel requirements to key customers across the United States and to the company's sister company in the UK. Reporting directly to the Senior BD Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and rapid growth of the company's business in the U.S. for land and Foreign Military Sales programs across the portfolio of weapon systems. In this role, you will be tasked with refining the strategy for land opportunities into actionable, cost-effective, and deliverable Capture Management Plans for each opportunity. You will also be responsible for delivering these plans, which include contract negotiations, and supporting the planning and execution of attendance at relevant land and naval trade shows and conferences. Additionally, you will advise MSI-DS leadership on land warfare and the defense business in the U.S., while building long-term relationships with both new and existing customers. Your ability to interact with clients and respond to inquiries about MSI-DS products and capabilities will be crucial, as will your capacity to conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
