About the position

As a Business Development Manager at Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our innovative healthcare technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads through proactive outbound prospecting and managing leads to qualify potential prospects. You will maintain a high level of daily call activity, making 40 to 50 calls per day, and will set up and conduct webinar presentations to showcase our award-winning Handtevy Pediatric Resuscitation System. This fully integrated, cloud-based workflow management software is designed for pre-hospital and hospital healthcare providers, enabling them to respond rapidly and accurately to emergent calls while reducing medical errors and improving the quality of care for pediatric patients. Additionally, you will be required to travel to conferences and meetings out of state a few times a year, accurately log and track customer contacts in our Salesforce CRM, and generate reports regarding lead qualifying activity. Meeting your monthly quota and activity metrics will be essential to your success in this position, and you will be expected to demonstrate a professional demeanor and effective communication skills throughout your interactions with prospects and clients.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Four year college degree (preferred).
  • Minimum one year of prior phone sales experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and Salesforce.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results.
  • Comfortable with cold calling.
  • Professional demeanor and phone voice tonality.
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and apply learning.
  • Active listener and articulate communicator.
  • Ability to understand prospect needs and properly qualify accounts.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
