About the position

The Business Development Manager at Valkyrie Enterprises is responsible for overseeing the acquisition process for strategic business opportunities to support growth objectives for the U.S. Army, MDA, and Space Force in Huntsville, AL. This role involves leading a business development team, managing the full life-cycle of business development and capture management, and ensuring the execution of corporate growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a business development team to execute corporate growth and strategic goals.
• Manage full life-cycle business development and capture management activities.
• Qualify new business opportunities and spearhead business development activities.
• Analyze draft RFPs/SOWs and manage the development of responses to RFIs.
• Engage in developing price-to-win strategies based on competitive analysis.
• Oversee negotiation of teaming agreements and work share.
• Participate in color team reviews and support adjustments to capture plans.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Business (Graduate Degree preferred).
• At least 10 years of technical or business-related experience.
• 10 years of experience in U.S. Federal Government business development, capture, and proposal management.
• Demonstrated successful track record in capture and proposal management for federal business efforts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
