The Business Development Manager at GEODIS USA, LLC is a pivotal role responsible for driving new business opportunities and maintaining existing accounts. In addition to prospecting, the role involves designing contracts that encompass the scope of work, operational plans, and pricing for new business. The Business Development Manager will serve as a key resource for customers, addressing their needs related to transportation, rates for additional services, and contract interpretation. Regular communication with assigned customers is essential, including participation in performance review meetings and updates on process improvements or new business initiatives. The role may also involve addressing customer issues, concerns, and requests, as well as undertaking special projects as assigned. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and other departments to achieve profitability goals and ensure the successful delivery of services.
