About the position

The Business Development Manager will serve as the subject matter expert in targeting competitor market share and identifying trends and opportunities in bipolar, MOS, and logic technologies. This role involves collaborating with the AMEC sales team and regional marketing groups to drive market share growth, manage high-value accounts, and develop strategies for competitor conversion business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales and profit focusing on competitor market share expansion.
  • Take ownership of relevant KPIs and strategic initiatives to achieve share gain against target competitors.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive cross tracking process including part cross database.
  • Maintain a quote tracking process, including success rates and lessons learned on losses.
  • Work with the AMEC distribution team to ensure their sales team is trained and aligned on goals, generating high activity, quotes, and win conversions.
  • Grow the customer count with a focus on competitor market share gain.
  • Ensure all key internal systems and processes are updated with accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Gather and communicate market and competitor information within the organization.
  • Organize technical workshops with customers.
  • Consolidate all activity into the AMEC competitor conversion Business Plan, clearly communicating expectations and requirements to meet business targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the semiconductor multi-market environment or similar experience as a Field Application Engineer, or business group product line or marketing manager.
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of Nexperia's key competitors.
  • Detailed technical understanding of multimarket products and applications.
  • Solid experience in promoting standard and commodity products.
