About the position

As a Business Development Manager for the West Coast, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of Eurofins Scientific's analytical testing services across various industries. Your primary focus will be to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and develop strategic partnerships that align with the company's goals. You will be responsible for understanding the unique needs of clients in sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and environmental testing, and providing tailored solutions that meet those needs. In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technical experts, to ensure that our services are effectively communicated and delivered to clients. You will also be tasked with conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities, as well as analyzing competitor offerings to position Eurofins as a leader in the industry. Your ability to articulate the value of our services and navigate complex sales processes will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth, track sales performance metrics, and report on progress to senior management. This role requires a proactive approach to networking and relationship-building, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and industry standards that impact our clients. You will represent Eurofins at industry conferences and events, showcasing our capabilities and fostering connections that can lead to new business opportunities.

Requirements
