About the position

The Business Development Manager is a key role focused on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can significantly impact the organization's success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through market research and analysis
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Coordinate with sales and creative teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
  • Create and give presentations to prospective clients and internal management team
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Attend trade events, matchmakers, chamber of commerce events, non-profit events to build relationships
  • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports

Requirements

  • Prior experience with business-to-business sales and demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends and identify potential business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques including prospecting, lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or related field
