The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing revenue in their assigned territory, which spans from Owatonna, MN to Mason City, IA. This position involves developing new client partnerships through effective coordination of sales, contracts, support teams, and internal resources. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive base salary along with uncapped commission potential, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone reimbursement. In this role, the Business Development Manager will compile lists of prospective customers using various sources such as CRM systems, business directories, and trade shows. They will actively prospect for new business through cold calling, social media outreach, and in-person or virtual sales meetings. Participation in local professional, business, and civic organizations is encouraged to enhance personal development and promote company recognition. The manager will facilitate a minimum of eight meetings per week with key decision-makers and develop organizational charts to identify additional business opportunities within client companies. The position also requires participation in monthly territory reviews and quarterly business goal assessments. Conducting safety job site assessments and presentations to prospective clients is a key responsibility, along with retaining and growing existing accounts to achieve annual sales quotas. The Business Development Manager will assist with service-related issues and ensure timely collection of receivables as directed.
