About the position

Our Sales team is expanding and looking to add a Business Development Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. The Business Development Manager will manage and maintain all assigned accounts, identify future business opportunities, and develop strong customer relationships. This role involves identifying, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions for commercial and technical issues while working closely with the Program Management and Engineering teams to meet cost and timing targets. Key responsibilities include initiating RFQs, overseeing CFT quote activity to ensure complete and timely completion, and obtaining the proper authorization for the plant to proceed on customer projects and assignments for Minth NA and Minth Overseas RFQs. The manager will also submit and maintain all customer-specific commercial documents related to Minth NA and Minth Overseas programs, prepare submissions for annual Customer FX, and maintain service parts pricing. Additionally, the role requires effective collaboration with the Minth Global team to prevent customer problems and participate in customer issue resolutions when necessary. Building professional relationships and establishing ongoing communication with customers, superiors, peers, subordinates, and suppliers is crucial to facilitate the achievement of performance standards. The Business Development Manager must assure that target dates are met regarding ECR responses, quotes, and other pertinent information communicated timely. Identifying opportunities, recommending, and implementing projects for improved productivity and cost reduction while working with our Plants is also a key aspect of this role. The manager will maintain and update company pricing record documents, logs, forecasts, and any other commercial records as needed, handle all financial open issues related to assigned accounts, and research market pricing to maintain competitive analysis and benchmarking data.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all assigned accounts.
  • Identify future business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a sales field within Automotive OEM.
  • Knowledge of Automotive OEM (Stellantis, GM, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota) e-Portal and associated Applications.
  • English Technical Language Skills; Bi-lingual is a plus - Nihonggo, Mandarin, Korean.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Products to analyze data and trends, prepare written correspondence and presentations.

  • Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with technical classes, seminars, and job-related communication development activities.
