GardaWorld is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team, dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and staff. As the world's largest privately-owned security services company, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing exceptional service and support to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, driving, and building relationships with strategic partners across your designated region. Your passion for security and your ability to help clients find effective solutions will be key to your success in this position. The Business Development Manager will utilize appropriate marketing and sales methodologies to develop profitable business in security services within an assigned geographical area or business segment. You will follow up with clients and prospects to assess their satisfaction with our services and identify additional business opportunities to achieve your sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, thriving in the field as you uncover new opportunities to sell GardaWorld's services. In this role, you will cultivate new sales leads, foster prospective customer relationships, and engage in consultative selling strategies. Establishing personal credibility with both internal and external clients is essential, and you will do this by being honest, forthright, consistent, and dependable. Your responsibilities will include preparing customized proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations, as well as collaborating with local management and Regional Vice Presidents to plan and conduct sales opportunities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop new business opportunities in security services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners in the region.
  • Utilize marketing and sales methodologies to achieve profitable business growth.
  • Follow up with clients to assess satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities.
  • Prepare customized proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with local management and Regional Vice Presidents on sales strategies.
  • Analyze local and expansion markets to identify sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms of sales, contract wording, and timing of implementation.
  • Synchronize schedules and travel to optimize client meetings throughout the territory.
  • Work with the Branch Manager and operations team to demonstrate GardaWorld's capabilities during the sales process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant business development experience in a B2B operation with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong hunter mentality with experience in sourcing and developing partner relationships.
  • Ability to understand complex selling mechanics and lead generation processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with solid writing skills.
  • Experience in preparing customized proposals and sales presentations.
