About the position

The Business Development Manager at Home River Group is responsible for driving growth by acquiring new property management accounts and managing client relationships. This role involves sourcing and onboarding new clients, generating leads primarily through phone and online channels, and ensuring successful management agreements are executed. The position is remote, allowing flexibility in work location while focusing on building a strong pipeline of business through networking and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Source and onboard new property management accounts.
  • Aspire to close an average of 30 new property management units per month.
  • Generate new business primarily through phone and online channels (95%) and in-person meetings (5%).
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to grow lead generation.
  • Clearly communicate company requirements and expectations to new accounts before onboarding.
  • Build relationships with home builders, real estate agents, and other centers of influence to generate referrals.
  • Ensure management agreements are properly signed and executed, including all necessary disclosures and surveys.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in any industry required.
  • Experience with CRM software preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a drive to provide superior customer service.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and proactive orientation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Real Estate License or background in Real Estate is a plus.
  • Property management experience is a plus.
