About the position

The Business Development Manager will support the firm's Property & Casualty and Life consulting practices, focusing on strategic and tactical business and client development. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to implement best practices and marketing plans, ensuring effective utilization of resources and identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business planning with practices to understand client needs and identify gaps in activity.
• Provide input and direction on creating compelling proposals for RFPs.
• Lead high-value cross-practice opportunities and manage RFP rate requests.
• Work with practices on client-specific growth strategies and encourage CRM utilization.
• Support practices in event strategy, advising on client engagement and ROI.

Requirements

• Previous client and business development experience in the professional services sector.
• Ability to develop trust and operate as a proactive internal consultant.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent commercial acumen and consultancy skills.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with global colleagues.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably MS Dynamics.
