About the position

Disaster Kleenup Specialists is seeking a Business Development/Marketing Coordinator who is creative, detail-oriented, and possesses a great attitude. This full-time position is based in Sand City, CA, and offers a pay range of $21 to $25 per hour. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-demand situations and enjoy an ever-changing and challenging environment. This role does not require any prior industry experience, as the company is willing to provide training. The candidate should be dependable, energetic, and a people person who is always thinking of the best interests of customers. The responsibilities of the Business Development/Marketing Coordinator include overseeing social media platforms, developing social media strategies, creating graphics, and engaging with the audience. The role also involves assisting with the needs of new and existing referring partners, data entry, calendar management, and preparing daily and weekly marketing reports. The coordinator will assist in managing the CRM database, planning and facilitating marketing events, and creating marketing route gift bags. While social media management constitutes about 40% of the work, the position also offers the possibility of evolving into an outside sales representative role. The ideal candidate should have experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, be comfortable using WordPress with Elementor, and be skilled in using MailChimp or Constant Contact. Proficiency in all major social media platforms, as well as experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat, is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing social media platforms, including strategy, graphic creation, content, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
  • Comfortable using WordPress with Elementor.
  • Skilled in using MailChimp or Constant Contact.
  • Proficient in all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest).
  • Experience with Canva is a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Self-starter and able to multitask.
  • Customer service driven.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with graphic creation and social media strategy.
