About the position

The Business Development Operations Analyst at Leidos plays a crucial role in supporting the growth efforts of the Energy, Infrastructure, and Automation business area. This position focuses on ensuring the accuracy and reporting of business development (BD) data, facilitating various BD operations, and collaborating with multiple teams to achieve BD metrics. The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to be local to the Reston, VA area for occasional office visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage action items for recurring and ad hoc tasks in support of day-to-day BD operations.
• Ensure BD data accuracy in Salesforce and WinIt, and perform reconciliations with contracts and finance.
• Facilitate monthly Sector pipeline reviews and support the execution of reviews and approvals for the Gate Review Process.
• Track wins and losses, and coordinate with New Business Funds budgets and details.
• Consolidate and disseminate weekly 5x15 reports.
• Collaborate across the Energy Infrastructure and Automation Business Area and with Growth and Strategy counterparts from other sectors.
• Track and respond to BD actions, providing support to senior management and Business Area managers.
• Participate in business development planning activities and facilitate BD presentations.
• Monitor the Business Area pipeline, submits, and awards, producing weekly tracking reports for leadership.
• Ensure opportunity data accuracy and resolve exceptions quickly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience.
• Proven track record of successful business development operations and/or pipeline support.
• Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and WinIt.
• Strong communication skills and ability to anticipate needs.
• Multi-tasking abilities and comprehension of task prioritization.
