About the position

The Business Development Operations Lead at L3Harris is responsible for overseeing budgeting, planning, and analysis activities related to sales operations. This role involves analyzing sales-related expenses, maintaining sales force automation systems, and ensuring accurate revenue forecasting. The position requires collaboration with the Business Development team and Finance to keep databases updated and to enhance reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform budgeting, planning, and analysis activities for sales operations.
  • Analyze sales-related expenses associated with the order pipeline, bookings, revenue forecasting, and sales productivity.
  • Conduct regular variance analysis for expenses and budgets.
  • Incorporate client delivery schedules and operational changes into future revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain and enhance sales force automation systems and margin management tools.
  • Own CRM discipline within the Sector as a CRM super user.
  • Standardize opportunity entries to include expected demand profile.
  • Establish cadence with BD team and Finance to keep databases updated.
  • Own Power BI reporting dashboards to ensure accurate orders and revenue forecasting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • At least 2 years experience with CRM, Sharepoint, and Power BI.
  • At least 2 years experience with sales operations demand planning.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint.
  • Experience and understanding of new business capture processes, methods and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desired background in aerospace & defense.
