About the position

GVH is seeking a Business Development & Operations Manager who is a self-starter with a strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. The successful candidate will serve as the key point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that company objectives are met. This role is essential in maintaining high service quality and fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders. In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring complete follow-through with customer and sales staff inquiries. You will need to demonstrate a positive and motivated attitude consistently. Your general responsibilities will include interacting with customers and vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring service quality. You will also be tasked with maintaining and organizing office documents, files, and records, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating office events. Effective communication with all necessary branch and corporate departments is crucial to ensure that all teams are engaged and informed about ongoing issues. Additionally, you will coordinate with the leadership team to ensure that the branch aligns with management goals and objectives, and you will track and evaluate team and individual performance, setting objectives and providing feedback for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors.
  • Complete follow-through with customer and sales staff inquiries.
  • Act as an independent problem solver for operational issues.
  • Maintain a positive and motivated attitude at all times.
  • Interact with customers and vendors, managing contracts and ensuring service quality.
  • Conduct continual follow-up to ensure customers are fully serviced.
  • Maintain and organize office documents, files, and records.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate office events.
  • Communicate with all necessary branch and corporate departments to ensure that all teams are engaged for issues.
  • Coordinate with the leadership team to ensure branch alignment with management goals and objectives.
  • Track and evaluate team and individual performance, setting objectives and providing feedback for improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
  • A college degree or higher education is preferred.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with office management software (e.g., CRM systems) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with staff, clients, and vendors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in office management software (e.g., CRM systems) is a plus.
  • Sales experience of 2 years is preferred.
