About the position

The Business Development / Outside Sales Manager at DRF Water Heating Solutions is a commission-driven role focused on connecting with property owners and managers in the Chicagoland area. This position aims to solidify DRF as a key service provider in the Domestic Hot Water and Green Energy marketplace, primarily targeting the multi-family sector. The role combines a base salary with unlimited commission potential, emphasizing both new business development and account management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify business opportunities consistent with the overall organizational strategy and business model, resulting in the greatest ROI.
  • Develop and lead sales initiatives which best generate revenue and meet the targeted budget.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing leadership to develop and improve lead generation strategies.
  • Create and perfect a drip campaign with phone, email, and social media.
  • Attend on-site appointments with the Commercial Business Manager to close sales.
  • Track and analyze multiple metrics that impact your sales success.
  • Utilize our CRM system to compile all account data.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B-to-B Business Development sales preferred
  • Strong sales ability and business acumen
  • Proven, successful sales track record
  • Ability to identify your target market including cold calling
  • Charismatic, polished communicator, ability to build relationships
  • CRM experience
