About the position

The Business Development Product Manager for the Card Portfolio at APMEX is responsible for analyzing, operating, and growing the company's card programs, including the existing Bullion Card and potential new credit and debit card offerings. This role involves working with large data sets to understand customer behavior, evaluate card program performance, and collaborate with marketing and IT teams to enhance the customer experience. The position offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule, allowing for remote work on certain days.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends in The Bullion Card customer onboarding journey, from application to activation and spending.
  • Make recommendations to improve customer progression through the onboarding funnel.
  • Evaluate customer behavior before and after obtaining The Bullion Card.
  • Analyze card spend on APMEX platforms and off-platforms.
  • Understand how customers redeem points and the frequency of redemption.
  • Monitor and calculate lifetime value (LTV) for various customer cohorts.
  • Assess the impact of promotions on customer behavior and profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and bank partners to launch new promotions.
  • Integrate card programs into the overall loyalty program of the company.
  • Quantify the effect of The Bullion Card on customer loyalty and retention.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance the Bullion Card customer experience across platforms.
  • Build relationships with external vendors and partners for new card product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration required.
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce or banking.
  • Experience in financial reporting, margin, and sales analysis.
  • Experience in retail, financial, or coin industry.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
