About the position

The Business Development Program Liaison at FreedomCare is a field-based role focused on fostering relationships within the community to expand the organization's services and build a robust referral network. This position is crucial for enhancing FreedomCare's presence in existing locations and establishing new ones, all while aligning with the company's strategic growth goals. The Liaison will engage with community leaders, coordinate events, and develop outreach strategies to promote the benefits of consumer-directed services.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach strategies to engage with target communities and key stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and government agencies.
• Represent the organization at community events and public meetings.
• Design and oversee community programs and events that support the organization's goals.
• Develop and distribute outreach materials to communicate the organization's mission and impact.
• Collaborate with internal departments to integrate community engagement efforts across the organization.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in community outreach or public relations.
• Licensed Social Worker recommended.
• 2-3 years' experience working in a homecare agency or community service-oriented agency preferred.
• Proven experience in the home care sector with a deep understanding of its dynamics and needs.
• Strong track record in sales and business development, preferably in healthcare or home care.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Medicaid providers preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
