About the position

The Business Development & Proposal Associate will collaborate with Capture Managers, Technical Leads, and the proposal development team to manage the proposal process from pre-RFP planning to submission. This role involves identifying and tracking opportunities, coordinating proposal inputs, drafting sections, and managing resources, primarily supporting the task order proposal efforts of the Indefinite Delivery Vehicle Project Management Office (IDV PMO).

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a pipeline of opportunities tied to one of our Prime indefinite deliver vehicles
  • Manage the proposal process through all stages to ensure submission of high quality, compliant, and competitive proposals
  • Ensure compliance with Integral's proposal development policies and procedures
  • Organize and facilitate proposal development meetings
  • Participate in devising teaming strategies, determining teaming agreements and managing partner relationships
  • Disseminate data calls and organize necessary proposal inputs
  • Conduct research to inform proposal development strategy for specific opportunities and markets
  • Support development of graphic elements and produce final proposal for submission
  • Track client solicitations and business forecasts, staying current on international development trends, and maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape
  • Represent Integral at industry events and at partner meetings as needed
  • Write proposal sections including past performance references, CVs, corporate capability statements, management, and/or staffing sections as needed
  • Support improvement and maintenance of MSI's business development knowledge management systems
  • Facilitate oral presentation preparations, as required

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of total administrative experience with one year of experience working in business development, project management or other related fields required, preferably experience working on federal government-funded proposals and/or projects
  • Must be a team player in business capture activities, and willing to contribute content to the corporate proposal data archives
  • Ability to think critically, stay organized, leverage strong working relationships, and effectively prioritize to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have well developed organizational and communication skills and good attention to details
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced team environment and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience facilitating meetings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Internet research
  • Experience with market intelligence tools, such as GovWin
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management suite
  • Experience in responding to task order proposal requests through various vehicles such as ITES-3S, RS3, CIO-SP3, SeaPort NxG, GSA Multiple Award Schedule, OASIS
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related discipline
  • Possess or possess the ability to obtain Secret level clearance
