About the position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in driving the growth of the company by identifying and engaging potential clients and partners. This position focuses on generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and building strong relationships with prospective clients. The BDR will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and execute outreach efforts that align with the company's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound sales outreach, including cold calls and emails, and follow up on inbound leads.
  • Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, SFDC, Eloqua, InsideView, and DemandBase to create target lists and track interactions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute outbound campaigns.
  • Develop technical knowledge of the product to assist prospective clients with inquiries.
  • Book, participate in, and lead discovery sessions with prospects.
  • Test and refine outreach methods, analyzing effectiveness and iterating for success.
  • Communicate the company's mission, brand, and value proposition effectively as the first point of contact for many prospects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of SaaS sales experience, ideally in inside sales or as a Business Development Representative.
  • Experience with marketing automation software and customer relationship management tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, SFDC, Eloqua, InsideView, DemandBase, or similar.
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and leverage data for decision-making.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
