About the position

Plus Orthodontics is a leading provider of virtual orthodontic services, dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovative solutions for dental practices. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our presence within dental offices and at various dental events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with dental professionals, assisting them in creating accounts, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our virtual orthodontic services. The Business Development Representative will actively visit dental offices, attend dental meetings, and represent Plus Orthodontics at industry events. This position requires a proactive approach to relationship building, as well as consistent follow-up with dental offices to encourage the submission of orthodontic cases. The representative will also be tasked with identifying new business opportunities within the dental community, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer support. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for dental offices, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding our services. Your ability to communicate effectively and present our offerings confidently will be crucial to your success. Responsibilities

  • Visit dental offices, dental meetings, and dental events to introduce Plus Orthodontics' virtual orthodontic services.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with dental professionals.
  • Assist dental offices in creating accounts and submitting their orthodontic cases.
  • Provide training and support to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Regularly follow up with dental offices to encourage the consistent submission of orthodontic cases.
  • Address any concerns or questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Plus Orthodontics at dental industry events, showcasing our services, answering questions, and networking with potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the dental community to expand our client base.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Act as the first point of contact for dental offices, providing exceptional customer service and technical support related to our virtual orthodontic services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the dental or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently and persuasively.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and demonstrate our virtual orthodontic platform.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to dental offices, meetings, and events.
