About the position

The Business Development Representative (District Manager / Inside Sales) at BBB Serving North Central Texas is responsible for acquiring new accounts through cold calling and lead generation. This role involves developing business relationships and conducting account building activities from prospecting to closing business accreditations. The position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to upholding BBB's Standards of Trust and Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts by cold calling and developing leads in market segments served by BBB.
  • Call developed contacts within assigned region to generate account leads and develop business relationships.
  • Use extensive business databases, directories, and industry websites to build a new prospect pipeline.
  • Conduct all account building activities from prospecting to qualifying to closing business accreditations over the phone.

Requirements

  • 2 years of working in a sales environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability and desire to close accounts.
  • Previous experience in lead generation and cold calling is a plus.
  • Exemplary attendance, promptness, time management, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience in inside sales and business development.
  • Experience in B2B sales and account management.
